ICE or In-Car-Entertainment is not everyone's cup of tea for car mods, but certainly a must for me.
Since u are into jazz, & youtube, and tvmobile, how about upgrading the sound system for greater multimedia joy?

Well i still wish after fiddling with the electronics in your car,
You will one day appreciate a BMW for its sheer driving pleasure on its Natually Aspirated 6 Cycliner Engines at least, 8 10 Cyclinder!
The spirited drive alone is music to me.

Actually Leon & Jon of bereit inc. (the Dynavin Distributor) did refer me to Soundwerkz at SinMing for the instalation but geylang was nearer to my office. And I only got time to fit it during my lunch breaks, so I chose to do it at Keeve's Aestmod, Geylang Lor.11. They did a very good job actually, so far everything fitted perfectly except for the mobile broadband thing, when I try to connect to starhub huawei mobile broadband, it cannot connect. Now at mean time I keep using my iphone hotspot for data. I just receive an email from Leon this morning, he was saying that the Dynavin unit dun work with any other mobile broadband, must get their modem, but the sim card can use any type. I guess that is why it didn't work last night.

I congratulate you on getting your driver's license and that you are fortunate enough to be presented with a car for passing your driving. A BMW at that...

However, I shudder at the thought of a freshly-minted licensed-driver whose first thoughts is how he planning to check-in on facebook, probably browse and watch youtube.... and twiddle with the in-car TV tuner.... while sitting behind the steering wheel, (irregardless of whether the car is moving or stationery).

I am even more surprised to find some very seasoned seniors within this forum giving passive encouragement to his young driver in his thread, instead of giving him some insights into what danger he would pose to himself as well as other road users.

The the TS, I do not need your car number, but if would be so kind as to share the colour of your E90. I will make sure to steer well clear of you should chance upon the same coloured E90 on the road.

I think even without the mod, thousands are still texting, calling, fiddling with their smartphones while driving and that is so common. If "sotong" =P wants to be engage in Fb during driving, it doesn't take a bigger screen. In fact, I can already imagine at that location in the dashboard, it's not as easy to navigate and what's more with a stylus.

That being said, Sotong, please be careful and only play when the car is stationary =) or let the chicks play. you concentrate on the road =) Life is short, don't lose it to distractions. And the fact that you just got your license means some years of experience to tackle the dangers on our roads not from roadkills but from human induced accidents usually.

Black rain is kind enough to point this out. and I think we should all be careful whether young license/old license, attended what driving course or not yet when driving and keep distractions to a minimum =) Happy driving the UDM.
