Audi A6 C7 vs BMW F10

Anyone else test drove both cars and what are your impressions?

F10s are now better equipped than the base A6 (2.0 TFSI and 2.8 FSI); BMW now equipped with navigtaion; 5.28i comes with the soft close feature! And the seats are much more comfy and plush. Better insulated and less road noise. But felt that the 2.8i engine's power delivery was not smooth...

The dynamic mode in A6 is addictive, transforming the car to a much more sporty character. The 2.8 FSI is smooth but not as creamy as Mercedes V6 or BMW straight 6 engines. Mated with Multironic, which is reputed with some problems, especially previous models.

Styling wise, A6 has slight edge with fresh looks. Too many F10s on the road!:sneaky:

Other opinions?

No need to consider. There are reasons why there are so many F10s. It is a much better all rounder luxury car. Equipment, lasting looks, luxury feel... no comparison. Numbers don't lie. I was in the same shoe as u last mth. Go for 528i or 535i. Perhaps still got last few units of 523i. MTL.

Not to mention can load 8Gb of music from USB stick... and acherly no need to be in the car while doing it, kekekekekeke.... F10 ftmfw!

the only A6 worth buying is the 3.0T to me. if you not gonna buy that then forget it.....

if i had to ask to compare A6...it will be A6 3.0T vs 535i...i think recently got some magazine did a comparison of both.......
I'm sorry but the 2.0 T feels like a toyota shell to me. and the 2.8 though not a fast car...at least they shld have the decency to give it a S-line package and not downsize its equipment level so much...maybe you will prefer the more sporty feel of the A6 2.0T and 2.8 but to me is quite disappointing...i will go for Jag XF if i want to rule out the F10.

u mean listen until battery flat....petrol dried up...haha...i haven load a single song yet

MTL... plug in thumb drive... It takes forever to download. Good thing is u don't have to do it at one go. If u want o add new songs, have to redo whole process again

In my opinion, F10 styling is very grown-up a bit Ah Peh. E60 to me still looks better.
C7 looks sleeker and more "yuppy".

I had driven F10 and sold off . Exterior is good but interior is a bit old fashion. Handling is good minus off the runflat tyre else will skip during wet road. Sold because pick up is slow and features wise was not so good ( i got the 2nd batch of the 523),

Recently got the A6 C7, looks more yuppy , interior is good but handling may lose out to F10. however, at least i got comfort access and speaker system is much better than F10 and higher OMV $44k where my F10 is only $40k and more ex but adjustment of the steering wheels is not like F10 electrically adjusted.

Bro, latest batch of 523i HL comes with 12 speakers sound system with DVD, GPS and 12GB hard disk. OMV is $49259.

Audi A6 hi fi system doesn't even have a hard disk for music download. I'm trying to be objective but sounds like u are taking one step back. But anyways, hope u are enjoying your new ride... that's the most important.

No problem bro, A6 is not a bad car. Honestly, I was deciding against A6 or 523i HL just last month. The Audi SA was throwing MTM upgrade + higher discount at me.... all in around 210k. I still thought 523i HL was the much better buy even when I paid more... around 22xk.

What u get though... is exclusivity... there is not many A6 on the road but F10 is everywhere. Haha

Perhaps u should have a look at the 520i and 528i. Both comes with 10" screen, GPS, 12 speaker system and 12GB HDD. 528i even have auto roller blinds at the back.

don't waste time with A6 2.0....only one worth buying is A6 3.0T. it is spec down too badly compared to the 3.0T. The interior is like a toyota camry to me and the new DRL so ugly....i rather buy A5SB 2.0 with quattro but only if space is not an issue for u.
