I'm looking to takeover instalments for any of the following:

audi A6 and above

merc s class and above

bmw 6, z4, z3 or any 3er convertible

i reside in an apartment so your ride will be well taken care of

Poor TS, kena poked by all the riches here... I don't think anyone here will do that kind of thing, like asking others to take over their rides as it's kind of risky if anything happens to their rides...

some pple actually take over instalments from the owners, but end up renting the cars out to other people for profit. its a cheap way to start a car rental company.

but, these cars do not have car rental insurance, which means if anything happens to the car, gotta claim the original owner's insurance. and not to mention, any summons will be sent to the original owner. if they guy chiong red light 12 points, person who is paying instalments dun wanna pay or take responsibility, HOW??

worse, if he stops paying you the monthly instalments, and you are also not able to pay, YOUR car gets repossessed. so who is to gain and who is to lose here?

nothing against the threadstarter here. but if you're looking for a high end car, either buy it, or rent it from a genuine car rental co. taking over someone's instalments is not a good option.

Woah, interesting insights here. It perfectly normal. The ironic thing is, the richer a person, the more humble he/she is. Honestly, it is a shame cos' I'm one of the youngest here to be bullied by old men with pot bellies whom might be twice of my age?:lol2:

For those whom have replied to me, just to let you know that I'm not past 25 so if you are uncomfortable loaning to a young guy, then you might want to give this a miss.

For one, i think eightynineten made an excellent point regarding the dangers of your proposed practice. Being part of a forum, he merely shared insights on possible disadvantages of the scheme with other forum members, and your response in general is totally uncalled for. And anyway, i do not think it is in line with LTA practices.

As for your comment that we are pot-bellied ah peks twice your age, does it mean you are 11 years old since i am twice your age? And since you make in a day what some of us make in a month, you'll be able to buy a 750Li in a week. So why takeover installments? all i see is someone trying to take advantage (and thinking everyone else is stupid) by taking over installments because he has no financial means to purchase a car. And when met with unfavorable suggestions, suddenly becomes hostile.

thanks got the ride already. As a trader, capital gains are not taxable. If you have a chance to wake up on 2 different continents a week, then you will not want to own a car :)

Okay. Don't worry, I understand your sentiments. Economy is bad and some choose to vent their frustrations on me.:laughlik: :)

A good trade pays off all of my expenses for the year and more.

Likewise, a bad trade will wipe u out instantly. stop showing off kid, u want us to believe and think u lead the high life. if u make so much money, what's the problem with blowing 200 - 300k on a car even u may wake up in 2 continents. get a life kid, seriously. if u are trying to impress any of us here, i think u failed miserably.

It was reported in the news that the original owner got into trouble with the law because he had no licence to rent out cars and his insurance did not cover commercial use.

Though making a windfall in a day is possible, it doesnt happen everyday and is no substitute for a steady job imho.

cuz i wake up in 3 or more continent a week
and i already have the same car all at all my villas there

however i am not so rich so i took 2 years loan for the 1.5m price tag
but given your riches, i am sure you have no issues affording it
