Big PROBLEM with E90!!!

Dear all,

Recently just collected by E90, discovered if travelling more than 100 or after hard braking, when slowing down (Almost coming to a stop) can hear a "wok wok wok" sound, like some metal grinding.....haven had time to go PML to rectify this problem yet, so tonight while driving home, suddenly veh OBC prompts DSC cum Tyre pressure monitor failure! and the prompt stays on all the time, even when I off engine and start the car, still have this prob. Later Im going for my reservice....only finishing 28th june, dunno wats the bloody prob man.....gotta send it in to PML once Im back from reservice already....:furious:

Hi, sorry to hear your woes. Can I suggest that you call the sales person to drive your car to PML to fix it up while you are in reservist, that way, it'll be fixed once you're back from reservisit Just a suggestion, that's what i'll do

pls go pml...ur grinding 'wok wok' sound came from below the car?

it came on esp during or after hard accelaration?...it could possible be the rear axle or the gearbox.....pls have it check out asap..

Bro sorry to hear that, notice your E90 seems to have many problems (before was creaking sounds, gear can't put to DS etc.) The tyre pressure monitor can be reset on your own, DSC not sure.

These are not common problems with E90, hope you get it fixed soon! so can enjoy your ride!

how many E90s have you acutally bought ???

I believe mine is a common problem, that is, the car will jerk forward when slowing down to a standstill. Worst, the icon "a lock on the left side on the steering wheel" appeared for sometime now. When i referred to manual, it is the faulty steering lock that may not start the engine......

Sounds scary, yeah call the SA at PML. tell them its dangerous almost caused an accident if they dont fix it quick. ALso tell them this entire forum is reading so they better get their act together for you.

Dear bros, I didnt reply cos I was doing reservist for the past week, will most prob be sending my car to PML on this coming monday. Thanks to all for your advices
