Black E34 520 (old 5 Series) Auto For Rental

Hi all,

I have a 19 years old (COE renewed) black 520 available for rental. It has a 24v 1.9L engine and comes with automatic transmission. It is the 3rd car in the family and I'm keeping it as a hobby, cleaning it up and look for original replacement parts once in a while. Due to my travel commitment the project had stalled for a while now. Instead of selling it, I would like to keep it running by renting it out and also cover some cost. It is very well kept and run smoothly.

I'm fine with a daily, weekly, fortnightly or even monthly rent. The rate will be attractively price at about SGD30 per day. Negotiable for longer periods. I will bear the wear and tear or repairs. But do drive it like it's your own, I'm only posting here because you're all car enthusiast.

my dreams to get an e36 has been squashed even tho i have amassed enough to buy and mod the fella back to perfection.....

aiyo jest, was abt to intro u to one of my customers. he wanna sell off his 3/2011 e36 320ia for paper+ few ks value.

well...all the best....dun be discouraged. i worse than u....scrapped my E36, no car since last sep, economy like crap now, changing job....dun even dare think of getting car for the moment cos family 1st priority rite now.

Hi all,

My apologies for not responding to your queries! I haven't check-in to BMW-sg for a long time. I was earlier advised by a friend that it is not legal to rent our our cars unless it is registered under the private car rental scheme under LTA. Checking with LTA people they were also not very knowledgeable with their own scheme, ie don't know what I'm asking. All they say is "must have proper insurance coverage". Check with insurance company, all say cannot insure for renting out unless it is a rental company car. So I gave up and have not rented my spare ride out since then. It is now a daily car for one of my relatives.
