hi guys,

finally install something new in my car.
loving the HD quality and Wifi to phone function.
I know I am not the 1st few to install this, just to share with all.

This is taken on my car

got it from a nice free lance installer whom got me a good price.

took 30 mins to install and no errors.
wires are neatly hidden.
power source is tapped from the radio fuse, which can be easily remove and reversible modifications.

How good was the price and does it carry any warranty? Which model did you get?

Below $400,

Have warranty less the shipping fees to return the product.

I simply buy cos he is my friend.
He installed it for me for free at his own landed house's car pouch area at night over coffee.

U can PM for the contacts and u ask him urself?

Hey bro

Yeah last time I also felt no need .

But after seeing how my friend hit another car's rear accidentally and somehow got away with it just because that car had no back camera, I don't want to be in that situation! Haha

Installing at that location may be very central. However, during cold days, the windscreen will fog up infront of the camera. Do take note.
Alternatively, install it off center, nearer to driver. This is to avoid the ac vent in the middle of the dashboard

I installed the dual camera version on an F02 before. It was a PITA as can't find a proper grounding point for the power magic in the car.

Was about to buy black vue DR500.
But chance upon coment on hardware zone that this product has overheating problem.
is it true?

Was told to buy itronics ITB100 hd.
is it a good advice?

Ok, I will update if my BlackVue has any problems.
Our BMW has a air vent blowing none stop to the BlackVue on our dash board.

The 400 is the one with the issues.

500 is ok .....

Was about to buy black vue DR500.

Set a static IP address on your phone when connecting to it via wifi.

Else no internet access.
