Hi All! Am new to the forums
am looking to purchase the 335i Coupé from PML next month.
Will be going down to Alexandra to test drive the 335i in a few week's time.
Was wondering if any of you guys here have any advise pertaining to the 335i ? Hehe.
Never driven a BM before so am a total noob
(last car was an RX8) but am looking forward to the experience xD
No specific advice pertaining to the car - get it. It is how much you wanna harness from the car after IF and ONLY IF you decide to modify it. The mod potential of the car is phenom:
Performance - you could harness a lot more from the following:
Piggyback chipping - example Burger Tuning's Juice Box
Ultimate Racing Metal Substrate Highflow Downpipes
Chassis / Handling - perhaps the weaker aspect of the 335 in E92 format, meant to be a grand tourer than a street car, but could be addressed by:
Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing Helical Limited Slip Differential
JIC CROSS Competition Coilovers E90CC2 with Cool Bend Customised Linear Springs 10/12 kg/mm and Pillow Ball Upper Mount
Sway Bars
And best of all, the E92 chassis platform is compatible with E92 M3 parts such as:
e92 M3 Front Strut Tower Brace
e92 M3 Front Tension Struts with Mountings/Thrust Arms
e92 M3 Front Wishbones/Control Arms
e92 M3 Front Regulator Rod
e92 M3 Rear Subframe Bushing/Mounts
e92 M3 Rear Wishbones
e92 M3 Rear Guide Rods
Talk to Andre nick fuzzy of BOSS Motorsports at Sin Ming Autopoint. Frankly, he is the only true guru of the N54 engine here. You could perhaps catch few of us there too. See ya there......
