Re: BMW M4. Official launchfilm

Just curious. The new M3 is out. Is it going to be built in Munich, Germany even though its RHD?
Anybody has considered to book the car directly there. Collect the car from the factory and freight the car back to SG to register and bid for COE?
I suspect the savings are still quite substantial plus u get holiday in Europe with a BMW factory tour.
Since it’s 50% downpayment these days. Might as well do more with it. I'm estimating savings >80k.

All ///M are build in Germany. For M3, it is likely either Munich or Regenburg.

Regardless of LHD or RHD, all 3 in EU are build in either Munich or Regenburg.

Rosslyn is doing export program for Asia Pac except countries which has its specific CKD/CBU program.

CCB. I like the "Pick Up Blue" colour. Do I pay Commercial Vehicle COE for that colour since it looks like my chao neighbour's delivery pick up truck?

Bro, buying direct from germany alot of administration... 1st of all, you need to fork out 20 or 30% of the car price once you confirm your order.when they proceed with your order you got to make full payment...

The CIF (cost, insurance, freight ) will form your OMV. You'd have to pay these in cash first.

Then when the car reaches the Singapore customs, pay your tax of 100% of OMV, then duties of 20%. Then 7% GST on the total of price + taxes. All pay in cash.

Then of cos the rest like Registration fees, COEs etc.

Still got savings after that? Used to have many years ago. But with the current COE prices, probably not...

Re: BMW M4. Official launchfilm

Wow. Thanks for sharing. Didn't expect freight and insurance to form the OMV. The new ARF is just formula is just crazy.
