BMW came out with the 135 coupe that's equiped with 6pot front & 2pot rear BBK.

Made by Brembo for BMW.

Recent documents shows that the BBK can't take trashing at the tracks...

I think the pistons are too small for all 3 on each side to be uniform. Good BBKs have staggered sizes for their pistons to allow progressive braking and durability.

Re: BMW Performance Intake

Can't bro......the CF strut can only clear non-335 cars......

But some guys in States die die also want.....here's wat he have done & the issues.....

There are 3 issues with the OEM strut bar in 335i:
1. airbox clearance - solved for OEM airbox (spacers + some rubber between the bar and airbox cover), still needs to be tested for aftermarket CAIs.
2. hood clearance - strut touches the hood insulation but nothing relevant
3. oil cap clearance - this is a problem, U have to remove the strut if U want to change oil, as the bar partially covers the oil cap. Kinda inkonvenient, but some of U can live with that.

You won't wanna risk having your GruppeM scratched also......

Re: BMW Performance Intake

very interested on the BBK too, but i think better wait for the revised version.

Re: BMW Performance Intake

Details of the BBK is talk about on another thread. some of the post here should be move over there. The Brake piston crack is because of using after market pads cut to fit the BMW 135 caliper.

Even with race pads, the pistons on the caliper shouldn't crack like that.....it's the material used on the pistons....apparently it's made of stainless steel and a ceramic insert.

Why ceramic inserts? Full Stainless steel would be fine liao.....kekeke
