Buying 523... Black or White???

I have just confirmed a 523... but couldn't decide on whether to take the Sapphire Black or Alpine White.

I actually like the black, but noticed that there is really SO MANY black 5 series around. The white will be nice and less common and classy, but white is non-metallic paint, and worried that it might look ugly over time as well.... Was told that white will be difficult to sell in the future.

Now very troubled as need to make a decision very soon....

Any comments or advice most welcome!

If you want to put bodykit than white makes the car stand out more and with black rim more swee.

Not going to add bodykit or mod the car...gonna keep it stock...

Don't like grey or other colours... wanna choose between black or white....

That's going to take a LOT of discipline and self-control. The mod virus is very strong. I also started off telling myself not to mod. But within one week of taking delivery of my car, I was infected! :sickinbe: :sickinbe: :sickinbe:

BTW: white with black roof looks slick :laughlik:

Pml only has natural brown leather in stock for white. If I go for black, it will be black interior. I like red leather as well but it is not available.

I think White will be nice and less common, only concern is that the brown leather might get faded and looks worn faster.

Is metallic paint really much better than non-metallic? was advised not to take white cos it is non-metallic.

Sigh... still can't made a decision...

neither...

if i can choose the colour of my 5er again... neither black nor white...

ask if u can opt interlagos blue... else get montego blue..

how about space grey.... sparkling graphite..barbara red...

then again...if it boils down to only black or white... get black... jet black.. dont get sapphire black.. coz the mettaliic flakes will steal some of the shine from black...

White is classier in any car. Except, for me, it still has that taxi look.

White is even more difficult to maintain than black - looks dirty very easily. Black is classy and with my brown leather its very swee. Alternatively try the dark blue with grey leather - very cool too

Are there anyone here that knows well about paints? Is metallic really better than non-metallic? Which shines better and which is easier to maintain?

White with natural brown leather looks classy, IMHO.

Is black leather more lasting in terms of look as compared to brown?
