Car camera ACE

Hi guys I drive a 2021 218 gran tourer. The servicing agent told me that the car camera works intermittently. Quite unbelievable this only lasted 2 years. Is this common problem for all here? This agent cannot tell me exactly what is the problem. Only said is spoilt. What do you guys suggest I should replace with?

Plenty of choice depending on budget. Just remember to get a external battery if you are wiring the dash camera up as a 24hr recording device or you'll get the battery increased drain warning on your idrive.

Thanks . BMW offers a big discount for me for ace 3.0 as my warranty had just expired. Net price around 680. Wonder if I should take up the offer but installation requires 1.5days. What do you guys think?

Hi .... did you change this eventually? I am facing the same issue with my Eye2.0 failing and it is outside of warranty

Yes i did. It works well for now but felt a bit overpriced.
