Car cut off when off air con after parking

Hi all, I just got my 07 e90,anyone encounter same as me before.
After parking the car left the car idle awhile then off air con, the whole car die off automatically.
Please advise what wrong ? This

I am also having the same problem, I would be sending my car in for a check and revert here on this.

My guess is most probably the idle control valve or some sensor or valve is dirty.

When the aircon turns off the idling rpm reduces to the point the car stalls ?

Yes after off air con, the rpm drop and can't hold then car stall ... But any problem solve by R2D Liao thks....

At 1st my wife still Suan me say : wow BMW so gd ah, off air con engine also auto off, no need off stop button ah

After when to Rod he explain to me y no need to off air con also , new lesson learn ....

Yes after off air con, the rpm drop and can't hold then car stall ... But any problem solve by R2D Liao thks....

At 1st my wife still Suan me say : wow BMW so gd ah, off air con engine also auto off, no need off stop button ah

After when to Rod he explain to me y no need to off air con also , new lesson learn ....

Yes, the air con will indeed turn off by itself after the engine is turned off after a long period of time

What was the problem ?

He say its like the engine control unit cannot hold the rpm well and drop ... Something like tat...he reprogram my engine control unit than ok Liao...

He say tat BMW have climate control, no need to off air con even off the engine.... Cos even u dun off air con then start the car....the air con will only start abt 5 sec later ... It will not start immediately.

He say always use auto for the air con can help the air con last longer...

but usually, i will start the electronics first, before starting car..supposedly will help to avoid fuel pump up lorry quickly, by then if i dont off aircon, it will start by the time i press the start engine button the 2nd time

Won't that soon kill your battery as it would have to kick start the starter motor as well as run your electronics?

This is great thread, learnt how to switch on a/c wi the recirc button to get last settings as default - who would have thought that possible?

bro what u mean use auto for the air con can help the air con last longer? u mean the air circulation or? if so use auto tend to have smell from the outside to comes into the cabin.

I have an aircon issue with my newly bought F30 also. The aircon will auto turn on when I start the engine even when I make it a point to off it before I off my engine. I also did not set it to auto.. It is not normal right?

Anyone has any idea what may the issue be?

It comes coded like that unless you set it to default it differently.
