Four eggs, diameter of the camera look big. Can it fit below (inside) the handle bar of the boot? There are two rectangular number-plate lights there. I want it for 318i Sport Edition 4-door, Oct 2004.

Hi - I'm very interested as my unit is ready, and just waiting for a camera to plug in. Some queries that I hope you can help with:

1. What is the resolution of this camera?

2. From the pic, I see two connectors. The yellow RCA carries video signal, but what is the black for? Power?

3. What is the mounting diameter of the camera body? I'm thinking of replacing the trunk keyhole with this cam.

4. Will there be any demo available?

It is interesting. Can this be viewed on the standard e60 display or need to add in additional display? If through the use of standard onboard screen, would there a need to modify to switch to camera input when reverse gear is engaged ?
