Change of monthly meetup venue.

Hey guys,

Any good suggestions on where to change our meet up venue to?

We've been using the Kallang Leisuredrome carpark for a long time now, and it's time we made a bit of a change. Back in the day, we used to use the carpark next to Macdonalds since folks would be eating and sitting inside. Then construction happened and we shifted to the Lesiuredrome carpark....and I think it's starting to get a bit tad boring.

Anyone has any good ideas? We could switch it to a place where there's nearby F&B for everyone to gather - though a couple of things to note.

It should be able to accommodate anywhere from 20+ cars upwards.
Preferably cool, and shaded with trees etc.
Preferably a nearby F&B outlet, restroom facilities

If you got ideas - let them loose.

If you can pinpoint them using google maps - even better.

Changi Airport T3 Basement 3 is ideal.

Amenities, food, kopi, aircon, toilets.......... best of all, lots of parking lots.

sunday 5pm..hmmm...BVO!!! got ubin to drink kopi too! n that place is desserted on sundays. u can park 50 cars even

Like that might as well pick Turf City, besides the Premier Pitch.....

- can park 100 cars for free (no uncle will come kar cheow)
- can drink kopi, can makan
- can do grocery
- can go see cars
- can play soccer after meetup

Although I have yet to attend any BMW meet-ups, but I have been attending meet-ups with my previous car forum ill now. I agree that it will start to get boring after some time at the same location. What we do is to rotate the meet-up venues at each meet-up. The main purpose is not just to avoid getting bored after some time, but also to be fair to everybody especially those who live far away like Changi, Jurong, Woodlands etc....

Some of the meet-ups that we had done for reference:

3) Dempsey (for group photoshoot which apear in Hotstuff magazine and beer after that)

9) multi-storey carpark at Ghim Moh
10) Tampines Safra

16) Woodlands checkpoint car park
17) Punggol Marina (via the offroad track)

In addition, we also gather forumers for a good cause to be involved in charities to Orphanage to help deliver staple food to the less prvileges as well as to organise an car open boot pasar malam by donating our used items to the less privilege.
