Check right rear light ON (Intermittent)

Check your connector to the the bulb housing, it's a common E46 problem. Take out the connector and u should see some arcing of the connector, causing the intermittent fault.

Get PML to replace the connector if it's under warranty, else a simple way is to gap the connector a bit to improve the contact.

It's prob not the reverse sensor that cause the fault.

Agreed - this is also common when there is some corrosion at the connector as the car ages, enough that the fault lamp will illuminate, but when you check your lights, they all work. Same thing happened to my car for a couple of days when I first got it - it had been sitting on the lot for a while. Clean or replace the relevant connector if it bothers you. :)
