checks before expiring warranty

had done some search on this topic but wish to see if i had missed something. does any of you consider sending car to outside ws for pre-warranty check or juz send to pml for that job? talked to my regular pml se, told me to compile my own observations before leaving him the car for a wk for detailed investigation. to start with, i'm not technically incline to the car, let alone knowing what's wrong with the car or what parts are due for change. the only trouble i observed so far is the missing coolant that i had regularly marked on the coolant expansion tank.

if outside ws, any recommendation? pm me if not proper to share here.

my ride is a aug 2012, f30 320i, 46k mileage

understand outside ws will nevertheless be "better"....had an ex colleague and a friend who's both warranty were abt to end and when pml checked, said nothing wrong. One wasn't lucky and had his water pump fail just one week after they checked and had no choice but to pay for it.

am also interested to know which ws can do a thorough check outside or just suck it and pay pml for extended warranty, this way they have to play the taichi game longer
