COE premiums rise across the board fuelled by latest announcement

The latest results from Sep 18's COE bidding exercise has been released.

In category A for cars 1,600cc and below, COE premiums went up to $83,751 from $77,304 in the last bidding on Sep 4.

In category B for cars 1,600cc and above, premiums went up to $86,239 from $77,100.

In category C for good vehicles and buses, premiums also went up to $76,001 from $73,999.

In category D for motorcycles, premiums went up to $1,703 from $1,660.

And in the open category E, premiums also went up to $87,001 from $80,000.

....... so in future will BMW be premium cars again?

Reason for people to stay with current car or buy 2nd hand cars (ones that didn't jump up too much in $ that is). Savings in COE/year can go road tax for bigger engine base on old scheme :D

I just pasted "M5" on my F10 boot. I can tell people I drive top of the line F10

This again my friends is the result of stupid things that they are trying to do. Unbelievable.

They had a target of 100k and it did not happen. So the latest policies would help get us there - 100k.
