COE prices mostly down

Certificate of Entitlement prices in the second bidding exercise in November were mostly down.

The largest drop was in the open category which dipped by S$2,112 from S$78,001 to S$75,889.

Prices in the small cars category dropped S$1,110 from S$55,997 to S$54,887.

Premiums for the goods vehicles and buses category were also down S$614 from S$40,803 to S$40,189.

Motorcycle COEs also dipped S$123, from S$2,012 to S$1,889.

The only category for which COE premiums went up was the big cars category.

It rose S$340 from S$77,000 to S$77,340.

Depreciation for big car is still $7.7k/annum. No change

is hardly a drop......when the new F30s are in...i forsee another big jump possibly...just like property...now the foreigners are buying more than the locals.....they are more cash rich than us...
