Re: Converting to Leather Seat

interested to know if any bros changed their fabric seats to leather as well.

if backseat got stains, any suggestions to remove? baby 'merlioned' milk, still got dark patch even after cleaning and drying

Re: Converting to Leather Seat

My experience. Don't do it unless you seat is crapped and worn out.

the stitching though done professionally will never be the same as factory fitted. There will be stitching that is not straight, exposed leather cutting at the bottom headrest no where near factory standards. Worst, leather on door trim will not flashed on the plastic trimming and metal.

Unless don't mind imperfection on a new car.

Re: Converting to Leather Seat

Well, reviving old thread, in case you haven't done the leather yet..

i had a A3 with fabric. Did the leatherseat upgrade with Jackspeed. their work was beautiful... includes seats, door panels and the hand rest in the middle console. Audi specifically asked me to go to Jackspeed because the A3 has its side airbags in the seats and if you don't go to approved fitter, the warranty is off...

but at that time, they (premium automobile) also gave me a $1000 JS voucher... so i only paid another $700

The new F20LCI comes with some synthetic leather... so i can save the money...
