Something to share so if any of you have the same problem, you can do it on your own. My car is Mar 06. Problem started 1 mth ago, door handle of the left passenger side came off when I tried to open it. I can put the handle back but it will not open normally unless you use your left hand to hold the housing of the handle and use right hand and some force on the handle.
Went to 2 workshop, 1 of them told me it is a 3 hour job where the door panel need to be taken out. The other told me its a 1 day job as need to check for coding or wiring issues. Felt that my door handle problem is more of hardware than software, I went YOUTUBE.

Tools I use is
1) 1mm thick metal wire
2) Philip Screwdriver
3) Normal wire cuter
I follow everything in the video. The only thing I done extra was I tie the metal wire to the brass catch. This is needed when you have fixed the handle to the right position, you will need to 'pull' the catch to lock the handle from inside.
Hope this is useful for those of you. Please note that there are 2 electrical wires connected to the handle, be gentle when removing handle from door.
