E36 On-Board Computer says what?

Hello all,

still a newbie, took delivery of the E36 325i. All is well, however, the trip computer - is it kaput? It will do the self check and tell me brake light fail (bulb needs replacing, no issue). Apart from that, it doesn't do anything at all! Ok it's a minor thing - but anyone out there, after the start up and brake light warning - the computer says NOTHING AT ALL !!! what's up with that? Would be a cool detail to have working ... problem shared is a problem halved

Get a used 2nd hand meter then, that will solve ur problems ehhehehe

hey bro, i tink nth wrong wif ur trip computer. mayb go 2 a workshop have a check. btw, wads ur no. again ? so that mayb i can recommend u a workshop. As lots of our E36 are done down there.

my no is 97812362 ... ya would be good to know the best workshop. even the buttons 100, 1000 etc no idea what they supposed to do, but they don't do anything and cannot set the clock!
