E60 Active Steering

Guys,

According to documentation, BMW 5 series comes with Active Steering and the sensitivity of the steering can be programmed.

Say in 2005 SI B 32 01 05, program it with CIP 13 or later, it will enhance steering feel at low speeds (15-40mph).

Does anyone know of any update or experience or tips about this?

Re: E60 Active Steering

IMHO perhaps not so much about reprogramming rather latest CIP release has enhancement for the low speed steering feels. any car manufactured after 2005 would have had that incorporated by default. if yours is latest production it should have been there i guess.
don't think BMW still dicking around with active steering settings at this stage of almost end of life e60 cycle.
