E60 event berserk after thunderstorm

Want to check if anyone has similar experience and also what is wrong with my ride.

Yesterday after the heavy downpour, upon opening my driver's door, I was unable to close it as the door locked by itself. My radio settings all gone as well. But I was able to start the car, switch off put the key into ignition start engine again and everything went back to normal. Door also managed to close.

Any idea what went wrong?

When was the last you replaced your car battery?

Don't think it's battery issues .....

Battery less than 6 mths old. Yeah don't think it's battery issue. Seems to me that my E60 "got scared" 被吓得魂飞魄散。

I only has a small glitch with radio...pointing at 91.3 but playing Gold90.5...switch stations and back to normal....

check rear battery compartment for water leakage in. right side of rear boot.

My problem is after heavy downpour, the PDC shows failure here and there. KNN, send to PML, they say 1 piece have problem, change 1 piece (NOTE, only 1 piece) for $400 and still have intermittent message after downpour. Give up already and wait for car to dry..

It happen to my 3 series last time as well when it hit a heavy down pour , some light came out . but when it dry up then all ok . Happen to my friend ride as well , i told him just ignore it , or bring a rain coat for the car next time .
