e60 upgrade horsepower

Any one has done this before, from the current 177 to 200++?

I dun seemed to find much discussion around this...or maybe i missed it out entirely.

I was quoted about SGD1200 for this "upgrade"

any thoughs?

can get a powerbox. should be good enough. used is around $300-$400 =) cheers

So where IS the reasonable place to go then? My car is already 6years, maybe a pre owned PB is good enough for me.

ROM is quite reputable, rommel did my type r's tuning before..... n he is quite fully booked, note, he only do tuning. i believe $1200 is inclusive of some hardware n dyno/ road tune.

Just enjoy the drive ler, 100bhp also BMW

Good advise Bro, but for me, the pre owned e60 came with 19" RIMs...kinda sucked up the pick up quite a bit...so i thot install a Power box may help recover some hp....
