E90- Tyre Pressure Monitor Fail, DSC Fail, DBC Fail

Dear all,

While driving, suddenly some error msgs appear

1) Tyre Pressure Monitoring Fail
2) DSC Fail
3) DBC Fail

Stop car to check tyres but all appear ok.

And I realised when I turned on the signal to turn left/right, the blinking does not go off after turning.

I stop the engine, rest the car abt 1 hr, restart car.

same msg appear but goes off after 5 minutes. But alas, it reappear again after 5 min.

But car seems to be ok. still drivable. No problems lei

Anyone knows what is happening?

Do I really have to go back PML to solve this? I juz came out from there early this week to reset transmission cos of the jerk

it may not necessarily be the tyres thats causing problems.

did u recently do anything to your steering wheel?

Wow... thatis a fast reply....

No lei, did not do anything to the steering wheel.

but previous owner did a change from the original steering to a sports steering with paddle shift...

could this be the reason??????

i had the same issue when i sold my performance steering wheel and switched back to stock steering wheel. becoz so many wires r connected via the steering wheel, any connection issues can trigger the fault sensors to activate. that was what happened to mine. if you changed the steering wheel sometime back i doubt its the reason. really need to send it into the workshop again for a disgnosis. look for the same CSA who dealt with ur car when this problem occurred. easier to follow up

It is the steering wheel sensor bro. Got the same error code before. Same-same. I thought RFT got problems. Check tyre ok leh. The steering wheel sensor is part of the Dynamic Stability Control. It is all interlink.

If yours under warranty. Just go PML and ask them to reset.

If out of warranty. Any bimmer expert workshop can reset for you.

Most of the time. Wire/connector loose. But if the error come back again. Sorry bro. Must change the steering wheel sensor.

Ok miss out this important one.

Mine got the same error after PML updates my ride software because of the jerk.

You got the error after a few days. I just step out of PML. In the expressway back home. Error come out. I went back to PML and they reset. Error never come back again.
