E93 2010 ABS Sensors Errors

Yes, a common subject I know, but I am at a bit of a loss.

This morning, I got a warning that the ABS had problems, actual error was saying that it was a tyre pressure problem.

So I pumped up the tyres and reset the idrive calibration and it came back immediately, hooked up OBD and it said that front right abs sensor was likely cause.

So purchased 2 new sensors, took it to workshop & had them fitted, and the problem persists. It is possible to clear the errors, but as soon as the car is moved all the lights come on again.

So the workshop's best guess is the ABS pump, but this is really only their best guess and it is of course the most expensive and most difficult part to find for the whole brake system !

My car is very low mileage, only 85,000km and any used pump I get will likely be 2 or 3 times this mileage.

Has anyone else experienced this and managed to find a solution ? - If I buy a used pump / modulator from the UK and have it shipped, it might very well turn out that it's not the pump at all.

Any suggestions or help much appreciated ;-)

Pete
