It really depends on several factors.

1 What oil did you use for the last change?
2 What principles do u subscribe to as far as type of oils and oil changes?
3 What sort of operating conditions does your car work under.

Once you have answers to the above question, you will have the answers.................

Hi Titantic,

Don't mind me asking. How much is it to for the 5km Engine oil change inclusive of labour charge? Btw : I was told by the sales rep when I bought the car that servicing is only required after 25km, so is it really necessary to do the oil change at 5km?

bmw says it's either 25000km or one year... most of us change at 12500km, half way mark cos maybe that's about one year old...
