Engine Oil

Hi guys,

I'm 200km away from engine oil change & had wanted to do it before CNY but no time. So gonna do it first thing on wed. I'm out of PML coverage already so probably will do it at one of the site sponsors workshop. Any of the workshops and engine oil brand to recommend?

If its LL01 engine oil, it'll be ok. An engine oil change pretty standard stuff nothing complicated so any site sponsor is ok.

Bro, best u call up the workshop tomorrow before going down. Many still stays close.

Mobil 1 0W40 is good. Oil change is normal job so any site sponsor will be good.

Can consider PML express service if you need it done quick.

Giant offers the Mobil 1 0W/40 (BMW-LL01) at $11.90 per bottle (slightly less than 1 lit each). You need 5 bottles for E60 oil change.

E60 needs about 7 bottles. How u get 5 bottles? One bottle is 1 quart and E60 requires about 7 ltrs...so its 7 bottles+

mine is E60 520i. 523i/525i may need 7 lit, i am not sure. Thanks for catching that
