I like everything abt my new babe[2 weeks old ornee], except for the bitten mild-steel look of the exhaust. Understand PML could fix a chrome cover over it for a nominal price?

Yes, you can buy the chrome cover over the parts counter and just screw it on. Simple 1 minute job. About $70 if i recall correctly.

The chrome tip cover isn't really screwed on. It has to be hammered on lightly using a soft mallet or metal hammer wrapped with cloth. There is a fastening screw underneath so make sure you unscrew that first before using force on the tip. If you have an inline 6, the tips will cost you $140.

thanks snoopy, btw my E90 is also silver. stock as well all rd. Look out for BENG as I also float abt in central spore.

Inline 6 tip cost double???? heng ah, poor beng like me can only afford inline 4...

Inline 6 need 2 exhaust tip, so cost double.

mmmm.....I wonder why, for a $130k car, PML doesnt throw in this little gift for a poor BENG like me. and make it an optional accessory

Cause you never hint hint to the sales exec. Usually they will buy it for you out of their own pocket if you ask for one.
