exhuast or CAI first?

considering to go down to fong kim this saturday. Should i fix the sebring exhuast first or Simato CAI? due to budget constraint, cannot fix both together.

From a technical, performance, sound, budget point of view, which one should i do first. I am thinking to do the exhuast first cause the stock single pipe exhuast on my E46 318i look damn ..... weak. hee hee

Definiely the exhaust. The enjoyment you get from your new exhaust will far exceed the enjoyment derived from a CAI.

It's a bigger mod all round in terms of visual and aural difference.

I think i will agree with CBS, that do the exhaust first because you can hear it 'song song' every single day til you get the CAI up..

For my ride, i did the Cyberspeed CAI 1st... and itching every single day for the bassy noisy of the Sebring until last Sat, WHOOP... now even i feel its too noisy in my cabrio.. hahaha..

PS, Sorry OT abit, CBS, I saw your car at the meet up.. the bonnet looks really really great bro.. just abit not fitting, but still looks great!!!

My vote : Exhaust 1st no doubt..!!

Its like a chio bu walks pass, 1st thing that catches your attention is the CHIO (outside)... whats inside is secondary ,for me to find out later...

Can you have your chio bu avatar / signature not blocking one of the "exhaust" outlets with her finger?

Buay sai Ah hia.... 1 outlet leaking "liam ti ti" oil.. i suspect oil leak within the muffler. the finger stays..

Go for exhaust 1st. Good in looks and performance as well.

I think the chiobu also need to clean off the excess carbon buildup around the tip.

honestly.... if on a budget.... usually do the cheaper mod to the more expensive mod....

but for some (me included) is as n when u can get hold of the Mods u want to do... especially so if its 2nd hand or from overseas... coz u have to either wait for someone to sell or the shipping period.... haizzzz

Exhaust !!....u can feel the sound and the looks of the exhaust tips will make u high........

Have done up my exhaust this morning. Sounds good. Sebring Exhaust on E46 318i. While at J4C, done up my E throttle response too. Too bad on the way back raining heavily and a lot of traffic, no chance to test my two new toys. Will video the sound of sebring exhuast tonight. If any bro wanna hear what it sound like before fixing it, please let me know.

One more thing, overall exprience at Juzz 4 cars is great. Thanks Seetoh. Will definitely give you more business in future.

Have done up my exhaust this morning. Sounds good. Sebring Exhaust on E46 318i. While at J4C, done up my E throttle response too. i m driving a E46 320 now.. running on a Sebring exhaust with Cyberspeed CAI...
dont know if it will make a difference to the bass of the sound though...

but might get cyberspeed afterall coz simota no where to be found.
