Experience with TP or LTA

Hello,

Just wondering ah, anyone here tinted your rides? I used to have tinted windows for my old ride but now LTA so on i think i drive out from workshop they straight away outside waiting liao. Anybody can share what is the fine for tinted windows?

Maybe can share some experience on how you handle a LTA or TP when kana stop. My friend shared with me he act blur after getting caught for tinted windows and got away with a warning.

Anyway i am pretty new to this forum as i used to drive a Crossroad, and i play soccer. Injured my ankle last week but once i recover i would be looking forward to join the laojiaos in their meet-ups.

Some folks like Sherman use lame like always go JB so must tint for safety reasons. Also must say tint done in jb so he won't be linked.

That said, usual fine is 70 and no need to go for inspection... until next time u are caught. Hope no change in recent passed law concerning mods.

Even though Sherman is lame, we all still patronise Infratint because he gives special services.

warning first time, then $70 each time, few more times $500.

sherman tinting business all legal unless you insist, but his M7 comes with opaque windscreen.

just put back legal, solve the problem thou i will not do that hahahaha...

Every two years I change tint because I know sure fail , then go back infratint and get new tints


Anyways , unless your ride very very prominent and don't even look stock , then LTA would probably check on you and try to fault you for any minor stuff , even your exhaust got cert also they will fault you for your tint , anything just be compliant , maybe their mood happy you can leave with a warning

stock is best, dun have to worry about LTA / TP bikes... ah wing say one.

else, if you spot TP / LTA bikes... wind down windows / open sunroof / turn on cabin light etc.... all together or choose 1 option..... MW say one.

worse case scenario... try to outrun the LTA / TP bike... totoseow say one.... for NSHW runs

Infratint / Sherman will keep quiet cos he secretly will say orh be goot, that way we have to tia tint to pass inspection and go back there to re tint the car thus allowing him to earn more money.

BUT BUT

I realised that if we attend each makan GTG and sherman 'mai dan' each time... the ROI for tint replacement at infratint is quite high

My friend drive evo10 say he every 2 weeks stop by TP at least once on average. He thought he change to lexus250 then just tint windows nothing will happen. Also kanna stop by TP.

tell the LTA if caught in day time say your sunglass also tinted how?

u can stretch your 2 hands out and asked them arrest u for double tint.

Why darker tint is illegal? The car behind suppose to keep safe distance and not suposed see thru the front car windscreen for another car in front of it. IU can be read by ERP even with dark tint.

Is there some statistics that driving under hot sun everyday without tinting over prolong period can get skin cancer? Or conduct lab test with 2 mice under UV lights in a toy car. One with tint and one without tint and see which one got skin cancer or accelerated skin aging.

Sherman should run for election and fight to legalise tinting.

Even eye doctor also recommended to wear anti UV sunglasses to protect our eyes. UV can damaged our eye lens natural proteins. One of the causes of cataracts.

When break traffic rule, TP camera snap, must see culprit's face so cannot get stand-in to shoulder the penalty....

Now we know why Sherman's car tint until so dark.
