Hi all, I have a 2006 facelifted E66 10 years COE expiring this Oct 2016. The engine is still very smooth and car very quiet on road. I am considering to renew 10 year COE. I understand the potential maintenance & parts replacement costs. Do you think its feasible and worthwhile to keep this car? Any E66 owners who have extended/thinking also of extending COE? Tks and appreciate your advice.

If you are the owner since new, and have done all the maintenance work along the way, its definitely less costly than a new car from a financial stand-point. The savings is massive compared to that of getting a new car. Unless you are getting a Honda Jazz as a replacement, then ya you will save more by replacing your ride.

However, old car being old car, parts will wear and require replacement from time to time. So, if you are somebody who doesn't like to be at the workshop waiting for your car to be worked on, then I would not suggest you renew the COE for this car.

Note: This is just my point of view. You may or may not agree. =)
