I did not include PS2 because of the price differential. The yoko AD07 and goodyear F1 GSD3 are pretty similar in price. The bridgestone S03 attracts a premium of about 20%.

The criteria for me at least are in the following order

1)Performance esp wet grip
2)Noise level
3)Durability

Many thanks in advance for your valuable opinion.

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

SO-3 gets the trophy

Check out the SO-2A if u hv time....it's a v gd tire.

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

In my opinion, SO3 wins on (1) but damn terok at (2) and (3). Was running 235/45/17 at one time. When I switched to Michelin PS on 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear, so happy coz my steering feels lighter and car is definitely quieter even with 265 at the rear.

SO3s generally do no last beyond 30,000 to 35,000 km. Whereas PS and PS2 clocked as much as 50,000km. So in determining price differentials, u will have to factor in wear rate. The F1s and 007s may not only cost less but may also also last longer than the S03s. I have not used either of these 2 so shall leave to others to comment on them.

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

I am currently running S03s on my BM, and trust me, they are quiter than the Yoko AVS which I had previously. Used S03s on my T5, than subsequently had F1 GSD3. Found that F1 wears even faster than S03s. Haven't tried AD07.

Am wondering what to put on my Honda, S03s are currently on them, but they have abt 10% thread left. Very tempted to try AD07 for a change, but I hear wet grip not very good. The honda is already very tail happy, so am looking for something that will hold the tail down in the wet!

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

SO-3 is indeed quieter than AVS sport...in fact the latter is one of the noisiest tires.

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

Just like to let all know that I got my new F1s on from Poh Heng and I am enjoying running them in... 18 inches (from stock 16) ain't so bad and there isn't much tire howl from these rubbers. Will of course know how they really are after a couple more trips up to NS. Will keep you posted!

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

I finally got a set of AD07, fairly ok price.
2pcs 215/55/16 on front, and 2 pcs 225/50/16 on the rear cost me a total of $750.

Extremely good in the dry, and the steering feel is damned sharp (think is the stiff side wall). Wet is a notch back when compared to S03s and F1s that I have used previously, but it is still good.

Re: F1 GSD3 vs S03 vs AD07

Am running on F1 GSD3 for over a year. Dry is average, but grip is quite brilliant during heavy rainstorms. Very happy with them. Didn't try the others, so unable to comment or compare.
