F10 528i Stage 1 Required To Smoke VAG

Hi Modsters

Had a frenly drag on straight road today with a Audi A5 Coupe ...at standstill traffic, i select to Sport+ mode with Tiptronic shift..once lights turns green...Audi performance from 0-100 was amazing..just in a mere few seconds...my f10 was smelling some smoke from the Audi backside ..and now im abit sad with my ride's performance.

I am detemine n ready to do a stage 1 tuning for my f10 528i . But Abit confuse where should i get it tuned and some questions below

1. what bhp gain and torque gain are we looking at for stage 1

2. With increase of bhp & torque, is there any hardware which i need to change to prevent any parts from giving way due to the sudden increase of power...any need for charge pipe boost pipe change?

3. Heard someone says that stage 1 tuning in fact helps in fuel effiencieny..is it true? As now, i am running a 500km mileage with a 70litre full tank...
 
1). Stage 1 probably get you 10 to 15% power gain.
2). With increase in power, hardware tend to wear out faster, changing charge pipe boost pipe to the metal ones is a good idea.
3). Fuel economy ... really depends on your right foot.

BTW, the A5 probably is tuned compared to your stock.

if you F10 has no more warranty. It’s better to do BM3 stage 1 as it’s more consistent compared to any piggy backs. BM3 has many maps that can match what u need.

you won’t need any throttle booster or what naught as all these can be mapped in.
had a porsche on a piggy back and now a beemer on BM3.

the BM3 is confirm more consistency daily in power delivery. The piggy back somehow doesn’t perform as well

can also change charge and boost pipes. If u more adventurous. Change down pipes. But need to swap out before inspection.

with all these. Your F10 will become more enjoyable to drive

Sorry out of topic, but saw u had both RC & JB4. Care to share how was it like on both? and which has the edge?

Sorry can't compare because I'm selling the RC on behalf of my friend. To my knowledge both are piggy back that increase around 30 to 40HP. The different is JB4 made in USA, RC made in Germany. Both product are safe and reputable, and have been in the market for very long time.

There is a member here whose 528 F10 can chiet many many fast cars. he is the best person to answer you lol

500km with 70 litres?! Is this normal? Sounds a bit too low. You right foot super heavy bro?

By the way, hard to compare Audi with your ride. He’s got Quattro, off the line sure quicker.
