no feel for the 6WB or even the new M5 steering now...

from the past, new model "basic" ie: x20i comes with very low specs
because it is new model, low specs people will also whack
only until the model has been around for some time, then bring in the high specs
this time, 1st round already bring in almost full specs liao for each model ie: x20i, x28i, x35i
how come ar?

becos in 3.5 yrs time will have new 5 series so LCi model throw in many things..just like E60 LCi ....

LCI = tail end of the model liao = kanseelangsart simi options and features fully loaded before new model is released

becos in 3.5 yrs time will have new 5 series so LCi model throw in many things..just like E60 LCi ....

I was at PML yesterday and noticed that all the models (including 520i) come with the illuminated door sills and also the idrive touch controller, which felt amazing to use

My fren ordered E60 in Jan and got it in April, damn happy... gear knob standard one..

He tulan cos gear knob most chio amongst all the other makes and I laughed at him cos mine was new LCi gear.. Then another fren ordered 1 yr before F10 came and it was...

and the LCI 520i no longer comes with sports automatic transmission, but this wasnt PML decision, BMW worldwide has removed the sports automatic transmission from the F10 520i/d models. So now its normal transmission with paddle shifters.

comparing my 1-month old f10 ... no led headlight, no high beam assist, no 6WB, no new idrive controller, ... nabei
and the list price only +$5k for all the LCI features
i need to go lup BBK or change rim to cure my xian-ness ... sibei xian until i cannot pangsai ...

Aiyah, cannot catch up one lah. The real lesson here is to be contented with what we have, use only what we need, and please, for fcuk's sake, check ID before you check into the room.... Robot say one

i know ... i made a wrong judgement that

a. LCI will be priced at a premium (at least $10k+ more) but only +$5k nia

b. i did not expect the 520i comes with full specs ie: adaptive led headlight which is expensive

c. the discount or overtrade for LCI being facelift should be minimum ... i just called SE, the overtrade is the same with my last purchase

i thought LCI = more expensive, no adaptive led headlight, lesser overtrade but with $5K more you got everything

without adaptive led headlight, the lci xenon is fugly ... the blinker is bulb and the xenon is also round (not hexagon)

Dont be disappointed! You paid much less for your F10 than the FL F10. The system will be updated later and soon the new LCI features will be considered old again.
