IMHO, most car has not been properly run in. So, it is not fair comparison.

Just hit 1,000km. Onboard shows 12.2L/100km. Iphone app says 8.5km/L

What you mean by iPhone App says 8.5km/l? You mean your iphone could hook up to the car to read the fc?

May I know what car are you considering to buy? You were asking about the 320 E90 now the F10. If you can afford the F10, you can close eye and buy the 320. I can't see how this can help you decide on either cars.

Of course cannot lah. I'm using gas cubby app. Just record it when i go to pump petrol. I wanted to see if the onboard computer accurate or not.

6,200Km on the clock. 80 % Highway 20 % City, getting about 10.1 L /100 KM, measured at the pump.
