F10 parking brake failure

Suddenly got an on board notice indicating parking brake failure. Can't engage the hand brakes at all. Any one with experience to share? Quite an unusual thing that goes faulty I supposed

Probably the actuators are not working or its jammed.

If I recall correctly, the actuators are made of plastic and break easily. Happened to mine too.

Jus got the error message earlier. Did TS manage to resolve the problem? I also notice this "scratch" that goes round the rotor on the rear right. The other rotors don't have that mark.

Maybe there's something stuck between the pad and the rotor ...

rear right actuator faulty. hence not able to use the parking brake and the brake hold.

Should be hamster .... Cockroach can't make noise.

I experienced the same yesterday. How did you rectify this?

send back to PML and had the problem solved.

Is it still under warranty with PML? Last reply mentioned resolution by PML. Otherwise, might want to consider sending to one of the specialist BMW workshops such as R2D, JuzzForCars, etc.
