F30 318i performance

Hi.

Was quite shocked to see this new engine shared with the mini's could easily reached 220km/h with ease. (Not on sg road of course.)

Not bad for a puny 3cyl 1.5l engine! I could rmbr my 2.0l NA couldnt even reached 190...

Most if not all Bmw can hit 200-220kph, it depends more on how much balls the driver has lol

But was refering to the new 1.5l, first BM downsized engine on a BM badged car apart frm the minis. Quite impressive with the load it carries.

At first didnt really expect but the 8 speed GB and torque sure does help move this heavy ton a lot! Hahaha.

Any f30 318i owner wanna share experience?

My first Bimmer with a small engine. Can't compare much but glad that you tested it out and good to know what it is not an inferior model.
