Had the opportunity to be at the launch of the new 7 series and I must say it looks great in the flesh.
The exterior changes - the front light clusters, widened grill, sharper power dome, fierce air ducts and the new rear light clusters and re-shaped boot lid does change the look for the better.
Also love the new 20 inches rims!
Interior is largely the same - but the knobs are now nicer, and i-drive simplified.... etc..
Price is pretty yummy too... entry 730i is at $268k while the 730iL is at $280k. The new 4 litres and 5 litres will cost above $300k.
I think the highlight must be the new 730i with 258 BHP in line 6... 0-100 is quoted at a respectable 7.8 secs (7.9 secs for the iL) while the 740 gets you 6.8 secs and the 750i is at 5.9secs. An M3 yatch? 760 is still there for the taking. 5.5 seconds 0-100. yum..
