False alarm? Or not? No Check messages after exclamation sign came out

I didn't receive any big warning signs nor warning sounds on my dashboard while driving but recently after startin
g off, a while later I notice the small triangle + error sign at the bottom pops out.

I checked using the BC lever, the car indicated there is no check messages error logged. What can it be?

I googled online, may not be accurate but pple says maybe brake fluid or transmission issue?

Or is it just a fluke and the electronic went bonkers?

There was no big warning sign/symbol that usually accompanies or precedes the small ! in the triangle and no warning sounds so im vexed.

Anyone encountered such thing before?

I will take later but I did check. No bc message it just says check ok. When I cycle thru all service info the next item to be serviced is brake fluid I find that odd I just changed brake fluid not long ago

check your lights ie: license plate, reverse, inner brake when light is on, etc
some error message do not repeat ie: appear each time you start car
else go to a workshop to use diagnostic tool to check error

Engine oil level. I guessed it was an early warning that getting too low. Waa driving just now and error came out again so I bc checked and the engine oil level sign came. Checked oil level electronically and uts at min.

Now gg to buy a bottle at petrol station my other family members told me its normal for bimmers to burn thru and get low within 3 months. True? So I was told to get any brand as standby 3w50?

Topped up and so far no errors. Bc fuel level also indicate top up to optimum level thanks all

Whatever oil it was - I think you made the right call. According to the manual if it hits the minimum level - you gotta top up within 100km of driving to prevent damage.

Suggest you try and fix the leak source, bimmers are vulnerable to leaks but doesn't mean you should accept it. Many ppl here have successfully fixed theirs.
