Fitting 18" rims on a FL 318i

Can i fit 18" rims into my 03 FL 318i? Will it damage my stock suspension or my bush bearings? And can anyone recommend the tire size for both 17" and 18" rims?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sure u can w/o any problem

For your 18 inch, typically the tire size is 225/40, some do 235/40
As for 17 shud be 225/45 or 235/45

Hey TripleM, thanks for the quick reply. Will changing to 18" comprise the ride in any way? I am on the stock 16" at the moment. My rims look disgustingly small after i have seen some of the rides of the brudders here from the photo gallery. But at the same time, i am afraid that my little 4-pot does not have the power to push the 18's and fuel consumption will rocket etc...etc....

hi there.. it depends on wat kinda rims u getting and how heavy they are. Alot of the bros here driving 318 are running on 18's . Like for example SL2, he's on 18" .. and he's not that slow too.. hahaha.. as long ur rims dun weigh 13k and above per rim.. i think ur fine .

I think the Replica CSLs used by Barry are very light. You should look into it. Plus no fitment problems with BBKs if you wish to add it in the future.

I think Leong Seng at Ubi Ave 1 has it. Around $290 or 300+ per rim.
