Flashlight socket in Glovebox

e90 owners, do u have a power socket at the right side of the glovebox that is meant to hold a flashlight?

mine is MY08 and do not have it. juz want to see if older units have it or ours all dun come with the power source.

btw, those u has it, if u need a flashlight, buzz me. i got 2 to sell cos never do enuf homework before buying :furious: letting go at cost price of flashlight, will absord the shipment fee that i paid.

alternatively, anyone knows where i can go to fix up such a power socket? and indicative price?

Hi there,
U can actually order the socket for the torchlight and use it. The wiring and connector is already there. U only need to replace the blind plate with a base plate for the torchlight to be mounted.
Once u take out the glove compartment, u can pry open the blind plate where the torchlight supposed to sit and u will find the wire attached the back of it. All u need is to order the base plate for the torchlight and it will work.
I managed to bring over from my E46 to the E90 and it work.
Sorry I don have the part number of it now but it would be a good idea to check the realoem based on the E46 platform if you cannot find it in the E90 platform.
