Forged rim.. curb rash where to poish?

Darn rubbish truck this morning edges me to the curb... hesitated knowing i sure hit the curb..but was in a hurry............ Arghhhh.... !
anyone know where to polish off curb rashes on forged rim?
sigh! what a day to start the week!

Lip or without lip?

Without lip, I'd supposed you can still go back to the likes of Yew Lip, Leong Seng, South East or Hurry's to get it repaired.

With lip, depends on chrome or high polished. The latter can still be salvaged. Same process as above. If chrome, gone case.....

sent my rims to yew lip to spray, so far so good.

if chrome, i guess have to change colour.

thk you fr the response... looks like i need polishing but not spraying. Yew Lip does polishing? i guess mine is w/o lip.
is this with or w/o lip? i am ignorant..

Hey Gene, can respray. Just have to sand and then putty it up 1st before spraying.

not sure if you are referring to me..(me not Gene)... hehhehehe
the rims i have does not look like spray painted forged rim... it looks like a highly polished aluminum piece.

anyway just called up yew lip... they dont' do polished rim repair... sigh!

anyone know workshop that does polished rim repair?

If they are the high polished rims (like the MTM forged ones with bi-colour) then so far all the shops I have checked with say they can't much to fix the rims.

shoot.. this is bad news! yes mine is bi-color type... bummer!
can you share which shops you had been to so as to not spend more time calling them on my end here? thks!

Yew Lip, T2K paint (at Alexandra), Audi and general comments on various forums. Maybe you can try Porsche (turbo rims are similar style) or other workshops - maybe they have figured something out.

The problem is that the finish is polished and not painted, so the shop can't paint it back the same colour as they would do with painted rims. But I really hope someone finds a way to do some sort of touch up to the rims.
