Have..10 years ago one Indian singh from India came knocking on my door and out of curiosity I let him in and he got me hooked because he told me he can read minds and kua mia.. Of course thought its load of bull shit but walao he really can read my minds; he guess correctly my favourite colours, numbers and hobby...so next he asked me to to promise to remit at least 20% of prize monies if I strike 4D from the number picked by his bird but he warn me that I must have complete faith for it to work.
So with little reservation and half faith, I plonked $50 big and $50 small on a number on the same day (Sat) and the number didnt come out so I curse this bloody singh from India wasting my $100 but guess what the number came in 2nd prize on Sunday......

To me , fortune tellers or psychics are like motivational speakers. Make some very general and non-specific statements, and if you analyse them, can apply to almost everyone. But we perceive them as making specific statement to us, hence willing to pay $$$ for it.
On the other hand , may not be a bad thing if the fortune teller / motivational speaker can inspire us to make a change for the better. Sometimes we know we need to change, but we just gotta hear someone tell us to, before we move our butts.
