Hi hi everyone, I'm a newbie in this forum and just got my favorite brand, BMW of cos, a month back... :)

I'm a proud owner of a sophisto grey F10.. :)

But sadly that, I doze off while driving today and my side skirt suffered a few scratches resulting driving too close to the kerb...Haizzz...

Thinking of looking for a workshop with reasonable pricing to touch up the side skirt.. Any recommendations? :)

See you guys on the road soon.....

I normally go Yew Lip. Angie FTW.

:wavey: welcome welcome. I noticed u r 'clocking' the 10 post REAL FAST :p

Just in time for April month end meet up it seems :D

It is unfortunate for the issue on the side skirt but on a positive note, no one is hurt. When tired, never never never never drive, never know what will happened... Am speaking from experience because I was hospitalized for a total of 5 months.

Thanks everyone for your advise and warm welcome... I feel so overwhelmed with your replies... :)

I had just posted another question under "5 series" column on my F10 lower mesh grille at the front bumper.. its looks odd with the grille partially covered..dun know is it the pattern or the grille cover dropped off...And i just realised it today...

Re: Froggy80 saying Hello to Everyone!!!

Hello and welcome!

Take care on the road next time. I had a similar incident ten years ago after a straight 52-hour shift (it was crazy). Was on the way back at 4am in the morning. Fell asleep for just a split second and I found my car had crossed 3 lanes and was aimed straight for the road divider. Managed to jam brake in time but I was really lucky. It was extremely dangerous, and other innocent people could have died.

If you really have to drive when you are really tired, you can try my method - wind down all the windows and keep a wet tissue handy. For me, the constant rush of cold air works and keeps me awake. if you can get a cup of coffee or two, even better (no sugar for me, makes me want to sleep more).

Main thing to remember - there are others who share the roads with us, and if we are not careful, our smallest actions can sometimes have profound impact on the lives of others.

Cheers!
