Good Workshop to Change Brakes

BMWM

Well-Known Member
Dear All,

Need advice as to how much it costs to replace and reset the brake pads, brake rotors as well as the door grip / brake (the thing that holds the door in the position) and the workshop contact.

I am driving a 2006 BMW 7 series.

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

You may go to the site sponsor and look for the workshop section. I would recommend R2D and Boss.

Why so?

There is an inherent assumption that other than PML the other workshops could not undertake the jobs of changing brake pads, rotors?

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

it's certainly peace of mind when pml told their customer that's normal .... sibei relief

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

It will also be peace of mind when PML changes your brakes and tells u your suspension must change or esle the brakes cannot work properly, and by the way also need to change light bulb cos not bright enough

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

hitmee will say ... time to change car ... ultimate peace of mind

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

No, he will say Audi, cos Audi no need to change brakes.

Why do you think that there is peace of mind with PML? They'll probably ask you to leave your car there for 2 days to have the brakes changed...:verysad:

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

Ask any site sponsor should be no more than 2 hrs job.

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

Of course Peace of mind, cos I always use fast lane service...no time to wait...got problem can complain, easy...price is not an issue....but quality work is important to me...I went to other workshop before...pretty dirty and never get the car wash....When I saw the stains on my seats, they just ignore...PML still the best, anyway it depends on the SA you are dealing with....

Re: Good Workshop to Change Brakes

Try the sponsor workshop but they gave me oem instead of original. Price for original is almost $180 and oem only cost $55 at eng soon. But was charge $120 for oem. :evillook: lesson learnt. Buy oem and ask workshop to install and pay labour charges.
