Grazed the side of my e92 against carpark pillar :(

The title says it all. The graze is on the side of my right rear tyre well and the orange paint from the pillar is stuck on it. Where can I get it fixed? Asked my friends for advice and they said the whole panel needs to be sanded down and sprayed.

can try polishing if your paint coat still intact - meaning no expose of car metal

I can't see any metal but the edge of the wheel well has some flaking paint which I can't tell if it's the base layer or the colour of the pillar. Where can I get it evaluated and fixed reliably? I know bringing back to PML will cost a bomb

try bringing it either to Yew Lip at Sin Ming or Sin Wee Chuan at Ubi to get advice...

Can also check out Revol in Toh Guan look for Gavin. If polishing can recover 90% or more is good liao
If not has to go for respray liao - Yew Lip or SWC ...

Can try using rainex to wipe off the paint. It's a good solvent but doesn't hurt your paint work.

Any paintshop other than PML is ok. PML also outsource paint jobs.
Same happened to me b4. Small issue $200-300 solve the problem. Its just a BMW. Bodyshop will know what to do.

yalor ... dun make it sound like bmw is rocket science and only nasa (pml) know how to do it and especially bodywork - outside better

I recommed get a soft claybar and some clay lube and slowly work on it first. Can lessen the pain first.

Brought it to SWC and Munich for evaluation and it requires some knocking, puttying and spraying as the flare on the rear wheel well was affected. The only difference was that Munich recommended the door to panel to be resprayed as well for better consistency. The prices were not vastly different so I left it at Munich in the end.

same shit happened to my F10 bro. I took it to Revols and they sucked out the dent for me, polished away the paint from the pillar, and polished the scratches away for me. All I paid for was a grooming package. The rest of the service was gratis.

Anyway, good for you that MA is handling it now.
