Hello Guys!

Hi guys,

I am Christopher. Am a new member who has just registered yesterday.
Interested in F1/Rally, photography, XBOX, travelling and would like to meet with new people and make more friends.
May need you guys experience advise for motoring issue. And kinda of looking for new BMW...especially the new 320i.......

I understand that it is a great car with improve fuel management and lots of features. Test drove before. Anyone out there now is driving this "baby"and any advise or comment?

Welcome Chris,

The 320i seems a bit overpriced given the new PARF system we have and the low COE. Perhaps before u plonk down the deposit, consider alternatives like Legacy GT and Golf GTi. There are other akan datang models like the new Audi 2.0 FSI turbo (end of the year) and the new baby Lexus IS250 (dunno end of year or next year). Or heck, throw in another $10k-$15k and get the Lexus GS300. Test drive a few rides first yah.

A Big welcome to the forum.

the only thing i can say about the car is fantastic.. Love it so much.
Fuel consumption is really low, i have driven for 500km and I still have 1/4 tank left and one full tank costs around $80, Shell Vpower somemore.
Engine Power, I don't really know how to gauge, but the car hits 130km/hr effortlessly @ 2000RPM and I still feel confortable with that kind of speed.
The only thing i don't like is the exhaust, kind of ugly and of course, the rim will look better if it is 18".. haha

Mich, the ugly exhaust is an easy fix. Juz go to any exhaust shop like Fong Kim or Man (all listed in the workshop folder), get them to juz saw off the tip and choose from their stainless steel selection of tips over there. Got twin pipe type, thick fat round one, or oval-shaped one. Will set u back $70 all in including soldering the new tip on.

Alrighty..will definitely go and change it..

btw... do u think a twin one looks nicer or a thick fat round one?

For the price of the new E90 320, my heart still goes to the E46 330 used one ( say 1yr old ish )

I do considered a used 320, say 3 - 4 years, but I am afraid that the fuel consumption may not be too efficiency as compare to 318 model....

BTW, when you get your 320i, hopefully black, be sure to fix on a red LED set on the bonnet with the lights going from left to right, right to left :laughlik:
