I had a motor accident involving a motorcyclist 2 weeks ago, I was travelling in the left lane of Eu Tong Seng st., before midnight, then outta nowhere this motorcyclist rammed into the back of my father's car. Istopped and rendered assistance, this uncle claimed no injury while I helped him. Since this is my first accident, i dunno what to do. Called the insurance.... they are closed for the day.... called the police but they only handle injury case and asked me to report to the insurance. After inspecting his scooter, the uncle started to claimed that I swayed into his lane and jammed brakes thus causing the accident!!! and demanded 500 bucks from me, if I dun accept his demand, he would claimed injury and call the police....
Now I must claim 'own' insurance first and hoped to get the recovery before the next premium.:furious:

Your case with the scooter-ist sounds really like the axxhole who knocked my car 2 months back....maybe they share the same DNA. &*%##&)P&$#^
Anyway, welcome German ! I ve always wanted to know someone whom I can learn the German language so I can use it on my chao German colleague. Bcos he cant speak dialects, I ve been scolding him Chao Ang Moh, Chao German....and in return he probably scold me in same style in German. He whole life 'suan' me that my beemer is so expensive whereas back home he got M3, cabrio, and all that....chao ang moh.

well... as far as i know... the uncle brokebacked u... so technically speaking its very considerably in ur favour.... he can argue n 'claim' watever BS all he can (i'm taking ur telling the truth la).
this is wat i understand from my ins friend... even if ur claims take longer than ur renewal period... once ur case is settled n u win the case ... u will get back all ur NCB reinstated n the refund from ur insurance of the diff in premiums la... no worried bro...
and.... welcome to the forum n enjoy ur stay

Thanks guys i really appreciate all your kindness. I got 'slapped' with a writ of summon from the other party... :furious: :furious: :furious: anything i can do beside going to the insurance?

I got in touch with a surveyor firm to look into the matter. might change to claim the other party, any comments?
