Hello fellow members,

This is the first time going to own a BMW (collecting car early next week). Have been driving MB for the last 10 years until I tested drive the 523i a month ago and committed this infidetlity..

Still trying to know which is which like E60, E46, E90 etc..but am looking forward to this new driving experience.

Hope to learn as much from all the fellow experts.

Welcome. E46 refers to the previous generation of 3 series. The current generation of 3 series is E90. E39 refers to the previous generation of 5 series. The current generation of the 5 series is E60.
